Weight Gain: 21 lbs
So good thing Week 26 was the week I chose to shoot a mirror picture or else the number would have been backwards lol! I can't believe there are only 2 more weeks until I am in my THIRD trimester! Wow!
This week Jax is about 2 pounds and somewhere around 14 inches long! He is about the size of an eggplant =)
Last Wednesday I noticed he wasn't moving around as much so I got a little worried, but I decided to give it a couple days until I went to see the doctor. I think everything is fine though because today around lunch time he was hiccuping, twisting and stretching for a while! I read that eventually they don't kick and punch as much because they start getting so crammed in there... So maybe he is just starting to have less room to move around. My next appointment is July 14th so I'll talk to Dr. VerBeek then!
Today I added curtains to Jax's room!
They need to be ironed or sprayed but we were going for kind of a sailboat-canvas kind of curtain. His room is starting to fill up with stuff so I gotta get that futon out of there and get some kind of dresser!
This week I also signed up for WIC for when I take Maternity leave and I found out that when I start going back to work they will give me a free breast pump! Those things are like $300! And the lady said they are really good quality. WIC is a pretty awesome program so I'm glad I found out about it!
I've definitely been in nesting mode lately especially when it comes to getting our finances in order! Ask Garrett- I've been like a finance Nazi around here. He's been really awesome at letting me do what I gotta do... and he's so patient when it comes to my emotional breakdowns. I'm so lucky!!
Anyway that's about it for this week! Happy 4th of July!!
