After a week of WAYYY too much food, fun and relaxation it seems like Jax has like tripled in size haha! We had so much fun at Disneyland and on the Carnival Cruise "Paradise." Garrett got to go Parasailing and Snorkeling in Catalina Island and I got some much needed sun!
Jax is about 11.4 inches long now and weighs anywhere in between 1-2 pounds!
He is technically considered "viable" from now on and if he was born this week he'd have a 10-20% chance of survival! With a 90% chance of complications. Thats so crazy!
His eyes are formed but still lack pigment and he practices breathing now which can lead to hiccups even though I don't think he has had them yet. His fingernails are almost completely formed too lol.
He has been SUPER active this past week! Its awesome.
Garrett and I were traumatized on the flights home by the screaming babies that surrounded us... Man it was miserable. And my ankles swelled like crazy on our connecting flight! It was so weird! It literally looked like I had sprained both of my ankles! But after a good night's sleep with my feet propped up they were back to normal.
And I definitely feel like I gained excess weight on the cruise... But, Im not going to weigh myself again till next weekend after I have a few chances to hit the gym and get on my normal eating schedule lol! Pregnant women should not be allowed to have unlimited food access on cruises! =)
On the bright side- I got a little bit of color. I hope Jax gets Garrett's skin tone. He tans so easily! Lucky.
